恵子さんがテレビを見ている間私は本を読んでいました。
Keiko-san ga terebi o mite iru aida watashi wa hon o yonde imashita.
While Keiko watched television, I read a book.
ガソリンが高い間は必要以上運転しない。
Gasorin ga takai aida wa hitsuyoo ijoo unten shinai.
I will not drive more than is necessary while gasoline is expensive.
